About Camp Martha Johnston

Nestled in the heart of Crawford County, this scenic 165-acre camp has been owned and operated by Girl Scouts since 1925. The camp blends rustic charm with modern comfort, featuring climate-controlled cabins that make it easy to enjoy the outdoors year-round. At the center of it all is Sweetwater Retreat, a welcoming facility with meeting rooms, a dining hall for shared meals, and comfortable sleeping quarters—perfect for everything from weekend getaways to leadership retreats and summer camp experiences.
